Christine
Shelton,
Intermediate Ensemble Conductor, brings over thirty years of K-12 music
education experience to BCC. She has taught in New Jersey,
Pennsylvania, California, Missouri and Illinois. She has directed
and produced musicals, and taught various levels of choral and
general music, including church and community choirs. Christine
received her music education degree from Geneva College in
Pennsylvania, and pursued graduate vocal studies at Towson
University in Maryland. She has sung professionally with the
Trenton Opera Company, the Bucks County Symphony, the Pittsburgh
Symphony Chorus, the St Louis Symphony Chorus, Carnegie Hall,
and the Sydney Opera House. |

Rehearsals
Intermediate Ensemble
rehearses on Tuesdays from 4:45-6:05 in Barrington.
The choir rehearses during the school year and follows
the Barrington School District 220 calendar for holidays and
vacations.
Touring
The Intermediate Ensemble tours
nationally every other year.
Autumn weekend retreats are also a part of the first semester
calendar for each choir.
Note: There are
additional and extended rehearsals for major concerts, recording
sessions, tours and special engagements.
